CELTIC SOULS
Celtic souls, entwined, transplanted
Grow together slowly, embracing the years
Knowing only that one without the other
Would become unravelled and desolate.
Celtic souls, entwined and travelling
Each mile a discovery, a gift
Connecting history to the future
And soul to soul.
Celtic souls, entwined, enriching
Each other, giving strength from within
Bringing together all that is unique
To be woven, forever, inextricably.

HARMONY VERSUS CONTROL
Long after Mother Nature’s winds began to blow
Humanity arrived as her guest
Living in harmony, making our home
On this small globe of life.
Ancestral tribes looked to the sky, listened to the winds
Felt no compulsion to store
All was provided, time to search
Humanity integrated into the scene.
Almost insidiously the scales began to move
Mankind required the balance of power
Control was the jewel, the holy grail
To the exclusion of survival.
Depth of thinking was crucial
How to outwit the natural laws, the addiction
Unwittingly allows no recognition that
Erosion and destruction were companions.
Need for many becomes an antique
Yet is the catalyst of pursuance
Must store, must have, must rush
Where now is the harmony – the balance?
The scales have tipped almost to that point
Where turning back is not an option
Our legacy to the world and future generations
Is nothing but a question mark.
Now when Mother Nature’s winds begin to blow
We are reminded that the power is not ours
